BLACK FRIDAY DEALS actually began at the Owosso JCPenney on Thanksgiving Day at 3 p.m. Over a hundred eager shoppers waited in a line that extended past Capitol Bowl in anticipation of the area retailer opening Thursday afternoon. One anonymous shopper shared, “We ate and I left the Thanksgiving mess behind to be here. I can take care of that later, but I don’t want to miss out.”
