Beloved Michigan destination named the'most boring tourist trap' in the state

Have you visited the most boring tourist trap in Michigan?

This one-of-a-kind location attracts a specific crowd and is one of the most popular detours for travelers! While there are a few tourist destinations throughout Michigan that promise an unforgettable experience, this one is unique.

People planning a trip to Michigan may schedule time to visit Mackinac Island, the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, or Motor City, but this unexpected destination is rarely included on the list of the best places to visit in Michigan.

According to an updated list compiled by Far & Wide, the most boring tourist trap in Michigan is Edison’s Last Breath at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn. This location features “the final breath of the vaunted inventor” in a small test tube.

Far & Wide had the following to say about the most boring tourist trap in the entire state:

“There’s some serious hot air blowing through the Henry Ford Museum. The story goes that Ford was so obsessed with Thomas Edison that he convinced Edison’s son to sit by his dying father’s bedside and capture the inventor’s final breath in a glass tube, so that Ford could have something to remember his dear friend by. We’re just glad it wasn’t another kind of post-death emission.”
