The Baby Pantry, located at 114 W. Mason St. in Owosso, is operated by the Child Abuse Prevention Council through a collaboration with First Baptist Church of Owosso. The pantry is open on the second and fourth Monday of each month from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The pantry offers support to parents by helping to meet the most basic needs for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Donations of new or slightly used items such as maternity clothing, infant and toddler clothing, baby furniture and equipment, and books are accepted at First Baptist Church of Owosso from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday or at the Child Abuse Prevention Council office located at 1216 W. Main St. in Owosso from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. For assistance, or to volunteer at the Baby Pantry, call (989) 723-5877.
