All current, renewing, and new members of the Shiawassee Arts Center are invited to display one piece of art in any medium in SAC’s 19th Annual Member Artists Show, May 3 through June 19 at the Arts Center. All artwork must be available for sale in this non-juried exhibit, which is sponsored by Owosso Graphic Arts.
SAC artist membership is $30 a year and benefits include discounts on classes, workshops, tours, and purchases in the SAC Gift Shop. In addition, artists receive all SAC mailings including invites to exhibits, the quarterly newsletter Artsline and annual SAC brochure.
The reception to meet the artists is Sunday, May 8, 2 to 4 p.m. The $100 People’s Choice Award will be presented at the end of the show. Applications are available at the Arts Center or online at www.shiawasseearts.org.
The Shiawassee Arts Center is located at 206 Curwood Castle Dr., in Owosso and is open Tuesday through Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m. The Arts Center features the artwork of local and statewide artists in eight galleries including the Frieseke Gallery and a specialty Gift Shop.
