The Owosso Mainstreet/DDA and Shiawassee County Convention & Visitors Bureau have invited the public to the Annual ArtWalk Owosso on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 4 to 8 p.m. The event will be held throughout the Downtown area.

Additional ArtWalk highlights include ArtBike, which features unique, decorated bikes throughout Downtown Owosso and Westown. The Downtown Owosso Farmers Market will be in full swing with extended hours and activities will include the Fifth Annual Chair Fair. Chair Fair auction will take place at noon at the market. This event benefits the homeless in Shiawassee County.

Hankerd Sportswear will be sponsoring Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest. Chalk artist will be creating their masterpieces on sidewalks all around Owosso. Back by popular demand is the Photo Booth offered by Michael Paine Photography, sponsored by the Shiawassee County Convention & Visitors Bureau. Photos with the family or in groups are welcome.

ArtWalk Owosso is a unique celebration of local and regional art and downtown businesses and attractions. The collaboration of artists and merchants along with the art and architecture of downtown promises to make a great evening of conversations, discovery, happy taste buds and pride for the community called Owosso.
