APT 4 BOUTIQUE in Owosso hosted a grand opening and ribbon-cutting Sunday, April 17, though the business has been open on W. Exchange St. since April 3. Amanda Garrison had previously operated Apt 4 Boutique out of her home in Davison, but she realized that most of her customers were driving from Owosso and Chesaning, which prompted her to look for a storefront in Shiawassee County.

Two additional vendors, Marcella Repurposed and Country Charms Creations, have joined Garrison to offer a unique mix of home furnishings and décor options.

Garrison and her boyfriend, Andrew Gellings, are shown here holding the scissors during the ribbon-cutting, and also present for the ribbon-cutting were (from left): Lori Dodds, David Hood, Devvie Vancil, Kim Springsdorf, Kait Springsdorf, Lisa Clapko, Josh Adams, Alexis Clapko, Jeff Deason, Linda Rice, Mark Rice, Andrew Gellings, Amanda Garrison, Mayor Ben Frederick, John Alley, Tammy Alley, Connie Lockwood, and Chuck Dennis.
