Corunna Applefest will be held at McCurdy Park in Corunna from Thursday, Sept. 15 to Sunday, Sept. 18. Carnival rides will be available by Schmidt Amusements, a craft show, food concessions and a car show are highlights of the event as well as softball, cornhole, and volleyball tournaments.

Opening ceremony will be held on Thursday, Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. with a craft show from 4 to 8 p.m. also an Applefest tent at the same time. A pie baking contest will be at the J.C. Pavilion at 6:30 p.m.

Carnival rides begin on Friday, Sept. 16 from 3 to 11 p.m. Again the craft show and Applefest tent will be open from 4 to 8 p.m.

The Saturday events include a car show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a 5K run/walk starting at 9 a.m. with registration at 8 a.m. The craft show will continue from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday. Carnival rides will continue from noon to

11 p.m. with kid games and activities beginning at 1 p.m. A tug-of-war will be held at 2 p.m. The cornhole tournament will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. with the Applefest tent open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

On Sunday, Sept. 18, the craft show, Applefest tent, and carnival rides will again be open from noon to 5 p.m. The AppleFest tent will also be open from noon to

5 p.m. For those wanting to see the Historical Village, it will be open from noon to 3 p.m. The Applefest festivities will conclude with an apple pie eating contest at the J. C. Pavilion at 2 p.m.
