Amon-Ra St. Brown gives back to bakery that made full-size cake of him

Last week, a Rochester bakery went viral for creating a full-sized Amon-Ra St. Brown cake. The cake showed the Detroit Lions receiver performing a headstand celebration after scoring against the Green Bay Packers earlier this season.

St. Brown announced on his podcast this week that he will be giving back to the bakery.

Not only does he intend to make a public appearance next week, but he’s also kicking off bakery sales with a contest: buy anything from the store between January 13 and January 16 and you’ll be entered to win two playoff tickets to the Lions’ divisional round game the following week. Here are the full details, per St. Brown:

“I’ll be checking it out in person next week. I’d like to see how it tastes. I need a slice or something, but in honor of Rochester, Michigan’s Home Bakery, I’ll be giving away two home playoff tickets for our divisional round next week.

To enter the contest and win a chance to attend our divisional round playoff game next weekend, simply purchase any item at Home Bakery—a cake shop in Rochester, Michigan—between January 13 and January 16th. “The winner will be announced on Friday the 17th.”

The winner, determined by a random raffle, will receive both tickets.

The Home Bakery is located at 300 S. Main St., Rochester, MI 48307.

This is an excellent way for St. Brown to generously support a local business.
