A 20-year-old man from Saginaw was shot and murdered

Saginaw, Michigan – Saginaw police are currently investigating the third murder of the year.

On Sunday, February 9th, at 1:13 p.m., officers responded to the 2000 block of Stone for a shooting.

When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered a Saginaw man had been shot. Police stated that officers attempted life-saving measures until an ambulance arrived. The man was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.

Taylor Burton, 20, of Saginaw, has been identified as the victim by police.

Detectives from the Saginaw Police Department and Michigan State Police are investigating the shooting. There have been no arrests made.
