In Okemos, police recover a car following a hit-and-run

LANSING, Michigan (WLNS) – Meridian Township Police stated that police recovered the car they suspect is involved in the hit-and-run incident in Okemos yesterday afternoon.

According to authorities, a woman was walking across the street when she was hit by a car, which then sped east on Grand River Ave.

When police came, they saw the woman on the road, with other individuals attempting to help. She was brought to the hospital, but authorities have yet to establish her condition.

Police say the car was last seen driving eastward at high speed on Hamilton Rd., behind the Playmakers running shop.

Anyone with video that could aid the inquiry is still invited to come forward.
