New Haven, Michigan (WNEM) – On Sunday, March 30, 2025, a line of severe thunderstorms moved through several states, including Michigan. Seven tornadoes were confirmed in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, with one in Shiawassee County.
The New Haven Township tornado had EF-1 intensity, with peak winds of 90 mph. The storm was on the ground for roughly two minutes and traveled half a mile. The tornado’s breadth was 100 yards.
The tornado crossed M-52, causing damage to several residences. There were no injuries or fatalities recorded.
