Lafayette Reptile and Exotic Pet Expo has returned

LAFAYETTE – In a matter of days, the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds will be home to exotic animals and reptiles.

The Lafayette Reptile and Exotic Pet Expo returns for its third year!

This Saturday, you can see lizards, snakes, sugar gliders, and hedgehogs.

Along with the animals, there will be educational displays and supplies for pet owners.

Tony Collison of the Lafayette Reptile Expo tells News 18 that even if you are afraid of reptiles, this event is worth attending.

“It is all very respectful,” Collison told News18. “There are no loose snakes flying around. If you are not exactly comfortable and are trying to get used to it, you can walk around and enjoy yourself without feeling as if something will jump on you.

Saturday’s expo is from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds.

Admission costs $10.

Admission is free for children aged 9 and under.
