Michigan's most popular destination could become the next setting for HBO's biggest show

There have been numerous movies and television shows based in Michigan that are considered among the best in their respective genres. When you think about it, Michigan is the ideal setting for any genre, especially a lavish location.

Although Michigan is better known for its nature and natural beauty, there are some resort-like areas that would be ideal for a Hollywood TV show or film.

Gretchen Whitmer recently posted a video on Facebook that made a compelling case for why one of Michigan’s major tourist destinations could serve as the setting for one of HBO’s most popular television shows.

I’m HBO Max. There is a show called White Lotus that takes place in different resorts with each new season and is entirely focused on the cast’s presence in these resorts.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer agrees that Mackinac Island is the ideal location for such a show. Do you agree with her, and do you believe HBO could pull it off? Given that the location in the show’s setting changes, there’s no reason they shouldn’t check it out.
