The NBA agreed to an 11-year deal with three networks beginning with the 2025-26 season.
For the first time since the network’s inception in 1988, TNT will not broadcast any games.
The Walt Disney Company will continue to show the league’s 80 regular-season games on ESPN and ABC.
They will also broadcast approximately 18 first and second round playoff games, a Conference Finals series for ten out of eleven years, and the NBA Finals.
NBC will return to broadcasting NBA games for the first time since 2002.
The network will broadcast up to 100 games per season across its channels and the Peacock streaming service.
It will also host NBA All-Star Game and approximately 28 playoff games from the first and second rounds.
For six of the next eleven years, NBC will broadcast one Conference Finals Series in rotation with new broadcaster Amazon Prime.
Amazon will air 66 regular-season NBA games, including one on Black Friday.
The streaming service also hosts the latter stages of the NBA Cup and the entire Play-In Tournament.
In addition, Prime will broadcast roughly one-third of the first and second round playoff games.
Reacting to the viral moment on social media, one person wrote: “Common with quick reflexes.”
“It looks like Common actually knocked it off deflecting it…” he said.
“Hazards of courtside seats, huh?” A third person made a joke.
A concerned fourth fan responded, “Protect Jennifer! I hope she is okay.”
Jennifer rose to prominence as a finalist in Season 3 of American Idol in 2004.
JENNIFER’S ROMANCE WITH COMMON
The stunning star is currently dating Common, a rapper.
The two were first rumored to be dating in 2022, and they confirmed their relationship later.
Common stated on the release of his new album last summer that her role as Aretha Franklin in the 2021 biopic influenced his collaboration with Jennifer.
“When I played it to musician friends, they were like, ‘Who is that singing?'” Common informed People.
“I am like, ‘That is Jennifer!’ It does not sound like anything you have heard from her before. I love that we were able to use her talents in a new setting. “She brought it, man.”
During the conversation, Common mentioned how close he is to the Dreamgirls star.
“I am in a great partnership, and, man, (Jennifer) is somebody I do really care about and do love and am growing with,” according to the rapper.
“The potential of a ‘champion lover’ indicates, ‘Yo, you are the one.’ I am feeling it. I would say there is a lot of potential.
