WINDMILL POINT Convenience Store in Bancroft, at the corner of Lansing and Grand River roads, is undergoing a makeover. Boarded up and closed was how the station looked on Sunday, Sept. 11.
The station is getting new underground gas tanks as well as pumps. Also, the store located inside of the station has been gutted and will soon undergo its own makeover. Station owner Matt Blight is hoping all the changes will be done and completed in mid-October.
The store will be doubling in size as well as adding a Beer Cave cooler. Also, a Hunts Brother Pizza will also be started up in the newly remodeled store. (Independent Photo/Elizabeth Wehman)
