THE 34th ANNUAL 300 Club Sports Party Early Bird raffle was Thursday, Sept. 24, at D’Mar Banquet and Conference Center just north of Owosso. This raffle is to give away the first $100 to the individual who has sent in their Early Bird ticket for this year’s event set for Nov. 7 at D’Mar.

The purpose of the 300 Club Sports Party is to raise the maximum amount of contributed funds to support the Owosso Sports Boosters, the Corunna Athletic Club and the Rotary Clubs of Owosso and Corunna. This is the only event that brings together the Owosso and Corunna high schools, the Rotary Clubs and the parent boosters for an evening of fun and games. Over the past 13 years alone, this event has raised over $270,000 for the benefiting organizations.
Only 300 tickets will be sold at $100 each. The evening includes entertainment, silent auction, mystery competition, light snacks, a cash bar and a ton of school spirit. Total payout is $10,000. First place prize is $2,000; there are three second-place prizes of $400 each; four third-place prizes of $300 each; eight fourth-place prizes of $200 each; four fifth-place prizes of $125 each and 30 sixth-place prizes of $100 each. In addition, there will be ten Crazy Cash winners of $50 each. Winners do not have to be present to win.
