The Owosso Community Players invite students grades fourth through seventh to audition for the Youth Choir in OCP’s upcoming Holiday at Lebowsky.

The show will feature talented vocalists, high-kicking dancers and some guest artists, performing a combination of traditional Christmas classics and contemporary holiday favorites.

The students chosen for the youth choir, directed by Mandy Bashore and Michael Windnagle, will be a part of this magical December spectacle of song, dance and Christmas spirit. Performances are Dec. 11, 12 and 13.

Doors open at 5 p.m. with auditions beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 26 and 28 in the Studio Theater, next to the Lebowsky Center on Main Street (M-21), downtown Owosso. Those auditioning should prepare a brief selection from their favorite holiday/Christmas song and only need to attend one night of auditions.

“The holiday show is a great chance for those with stage experience as well as those looking to make their Lebowsky Center stage debut,” according to OCP Artistic Director Garrett Bradley. “After the success and popularity of last year’s Holiday at Lebowsky, we are thrilled to bring another festive production to the Lebowsky stage. We are excited to offer an opportunity to showcase our local youth talent.”
