OWOSSO HAS a new hometown pharmacy, as of Tuesday, April 2. AJ Gajera, RPH has opened Village Care Pharmacy at the intersection of M-52 and M-21 (Main Street), and the veteran pharmacist is looking forward to providing a more home-based touch and building relationships within the community. The pharmacy occupies the building on the southeast corner of the intersection, which housed a Marathon gas station until October of 2012.

Gajera has been a licensed pharmacist for 19 years, working previously as the pharmacy manager at Walgreens in Owosso. AJ worked at the Owosso location for 12 years, including three as the pharmacy manager.

Village Care Pharmacy has a drive-thru, accepts most insurances and offers free, same-day delivery.
