The VFW Post No. 2272 of Durand will be having their third-annual golf outing Saturday, Aug. 29, at Dutch Hollow Golf Club in Durand. Proceeds will be donated to the Durand Veterans Memorial and also to Hurley Breast Cancer Navigator.
Registration is still open. It is a four-person scramble and costs $240 per team. There will be three divisions: Men, Women and Mixed Groups (mixed is two men and two women). Tee off is 9 a.m.; coffee and donuts at 8 a.m.

Entry forms can be mailed or can be picked up at the Social Room of the Durand VFW on N. Saginaw Street. Players do not have to be VFW members to participate in this golf outing.
