Several programs for children will be held in January at the Durand Memorial Branch Library. The programs include Reading Wizards Winter Reading, crafts, Wii Day, and Lego Day.

Children are invited to participate in the Reading Wizards program by checking out and reading library books from Monday, Jan. 16 through Friday,

March 24. Special drawings will be held during the program for prizes, and a pizza party will be held in late March for all children who participate. Creative winter crafts will be made on Monday, Jan. 16 between 2 and 6 p.m. Crafts will be available for preschool through elementary ages.

Wii Day will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children are invited to bring their friends and play Wii Sports, Super Mario Brothers, and more classic Wii games. All games and equipment are provided by the library.

Lego Day will be held on Thursday, Jan. 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. Children of all ages may use the library’s many Lego kits to create some fantastic designs. Parents are welcome to assist with the Lego building.
