PATRICK WEGMAN II, co-owner of Weggy’s Auto & Pet Wash, which is in the Wegman Plaza, 625 N. Main (M-52), recently expressed honor and pride at receiving the traveling trophy for the monthly “Put Your Best Face Forward” merchant award.

As Wegman (second from right) guided Perry City Councilwoman JoAnne O’Berry (right) through the completely renovated facility he noted how well he liked the community and how friendly and helpful everyone has been since he embarked upon this new venture.

When he purchased the property in February 2014, Wegman said he was making a personal investment as well as making an “investment in the community.” Wegman co-owns the business with his father Patrick Anthony Wegman, MD. Under their ownership, numerous enhancements have been made to the property which includes: a 3-Bay ‘Spotless’ Car Wash; elaborate Pet Wash; three retail spaces available for lease; and a large office area utilized by Wegman and property caretakers Jerry and Mary Aldrich (left).

Judging for “Put Your Best Face Forward,” is based on overall appearance, clean sidewalks and windows, window presentation, flower displays (weeded and watered) and absence of trash.

As this month’s winner, Weggy’s Auto & Pet Wash, earns the right to display the traveling trophy in the business for one month. (Courtesy Photo)
