Tickets are on sale now for the 7th annual “Taste of Shiawassee” to be held on Thursday, Feb. 11 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Comstock Inn in Owosso. Catering businesses and restaurants from across the county will delight guests with tastes of their signature dishes and best recipes, and a dessert raffle will offer chances at taking home delectable treats.

Taste of Shiawassee is hosted by the Shiawassee-Owosso Kiwanis, and is a signature event of the Shiawassee Heroes Campaign to support American Red Cross Services in our community. Event co-chair Kim Renwick noted, “We’re happy to have many past vendors returning, as well as welcoming some new faces to the event.” Shiawassee-Owosso Kiwanis President Linda Perkin shared her enthusiasm, stating, “It’s a great time to sample food from our talented local caterers, or to just enjoy a terrific meal with friends.”

Tickets are $20 per person, or $150 for a reserved table for eight. Tickets are available at the Shiawassee Red Cross Service Center in Corunna, from Kiwanis members, at the Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce in Owosso or at Shaw’s Pharmacy in Durand.
