To prepare for the upcoming holiday season, Carl’s Market and the Perry Police Department are joining forces to “Stuff the Hummer” with nonperishable food items, which will help stock the shelves of the Perry, Morrice and Shaftsburg Food Bank.
The Perry Police Department humvee will be parked in front of Carl’s Market, 520 N. Main St. in Perry, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2. With the community’s help, the third annual food drive will help make the holidays a little brighter for others.
