MILLIE TAUTE and Eisleen Lecureux can be seen stringing Christmas lights on the numerous trees in Corunna’s Community Center on Monday, Nov. 20. Another volunteer, Sheryl Frazier (not in the photo), was putting lights on the trees in the balcony area.
The trees were being prepared so that various community groups and youth organizations would be able to decorate them for public viewing during the holiday season.
The 24th Annual Festival of Trees will be held at the Community Center beginning Monday, Dec. 1 through Sunday, Dec. 3 and also Monday, Dec. 9 through Sunday, Dec. 10. The Community Center is located on the eastern edge of McCurdy Park.
