St. Paul School will be hosting a 12-hour scrapbook and craft day Saturday, Feb. 27 in the basement of the St. Paul church from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The cost of the event is $40 per person and includes a continental breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and beverages. There will be door prizes, a raffle, 50/50, vendors and pampering services at the event.
“This event will finish off the fundraising for the eigth grade class trip to Washington D.C. scheduled for May 19 to May 23 and begin fundraising for the current seventh grade class’s trip next year,” said Char Richardson, a St. Paul teacher and event organizer. “The students raise all the funds for the trip each year. We will visit the Capitol and all the monuments and even stop by Gettysburg. It really is a great trip for the students.”
Students will be on-hand to help crafters carry items into the church. “You don’t have to just scrapbook. I have brought my sewing machine before and If crafters need electricity, we’ll get them plugged in,” said Richardson. For more information or to reserve a space, persons may call Char Richardson, (989) 413-8838. The next 12-hour scrapbook and craft day will be held Saturday, Nov. 5.
