SONS OF AMVETS SQUADRON 4064 of Perry, once again stepped forward to help provide a merrier Christmas for area residents by purchasing and distributing nearly 150 turkeys to local families that needed a little helping hand this year.This is the fifth year for the “Sons” to contribute turkeys for the families, at a total cost of approximately $13,000. The local organization finances the “turkey project” with funds generated from bi-weekly (winter months) Sunday Breakfast as well as sponsoring various dinners. Breakfast and dinner fundraisers are open to the public.

Members expressed sincere gratitude to the community for supporting the project by patronizing the breakfast and dinner fundraisers.
