Owosso Free Methodist Church will host a “Songs-By-Request” worship service this Sunday, May 22, during the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Located at 1249 N. Chipman St., in Owosso, Pastor Mark Kincaid shared, “We’ve had five previous services with this format, and the response has been extremely positive. Many of the song requests were accompanied with personal testimonies about why a particular hymn or gospel song was especially meaningful to them.” Worship Leader Lynn Webster organized the song requests into a significant time of worship. The church also plans to celebrate the baptism of several individuals and children being presented a Bible with their name printed on the front cover as an attendance reward.

Webster noted that, “Many of the songs in our hymnals or newer contemporary songs have a wonderful, timeless message. I want to encourage area friends to come and hear some of their favorite songs—I’m confident the service will be a special blessing!”
