SHOP WITH A HERO at the Owosso-area Meijer was Wednesday, Dec. 9.
Heroes from The Shiawassee Red Cross, Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office, Baker College Campus Security, Michigan State Police, Owosso Township Fire Department, Owosso Police Department, Corunna Police Department, Venice Township Fire Department, Hazelton Township Fire Department, Durand Fire Department Shiawassee Township Fire Department, Owosso Fire Department, Corunna-Caledonia Fire
Department and Corunna Area Ambulance were paired with 36 youngsters selected by Shiawassee County Family Court to shop.
Meijer provided each of the young people with a $100 Meijer gift card for the shopping, as they were escorted by their hero through the store.
