The Shiawassee County fair queen pageant will be held Saturday, April 16 at 2 p.m. in the community room at the Shiawassee County Fairgrounds. The public is invited to attend. Miss Shiawassee County Fair and her attendant will participate in events and parades throughout the area to represent the fair. Applications are available at the fair office, Monday – Thursday from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1:30-5 p.m. at 2900 E. Hibbard Road. The deadline for queen applications is March 25. Fair queen applicants should be between the ages of 17-22 years (as of Jan. 1, 2016) and a past exhibitor at the fair. Complete pageant rules are included with the application.
