At 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, the LBCA (Laingsburg Business and Community Association) will host SBDCMichigan at the Rose Villa Retreat Center, 115 E. Grand River in Laingsburg.

Cheryl Peterson, Small Business consultant with the Shiawassee SBDCMichigan office, will present the program, which will include an overview of the seminar: Starting A Business. This workshop, when presented in its entirety, is directed to those planning to start a business or in the process of evaluating a business concept.

Topics that will be presented include personal and business assessment, evaluation of the market, identification of target customers, assessment of competition, business planning, marketing and financial projections.
