SANTA’S LIGHT PARADE in Durand on Saturday night, Nov. 30 was sponsored by the Durand DDA and featured a wide array of unique entrants this year, from farm tractors to golf carts, and even a school bus, as the city of Durand welcomed Santa to town. The parade made its way south down N. Saginaw Street, with Santa bringing up the rear in a fire engine, before stopping at the Sandula clock tower to light the city’s Christmas lights.

This year’s parade winners included Hart Farms, which won Best Commercial Entrant; the Durand Eagles Riders, winners of the Best Use of Lights award; the Durand Rotary, as the winner of the Best Use of Theme award; and Ferrellgas, winners of the President’s Choice award.
