DURAND ELEMENTARY STUDENTS got a special treat Wednesday, Oct. 5, as Durand emergency personnel held a safety day at both Robert Kerr and Bertha Neal elementary schools. Representatives from Conrad Towing, and the Durand Police Department, Fire Department, and Department of Public Works gave the students a chance to tour their emergency vehicles, which helped the youngsters get to know their emergency responders, while also reinforcing the need to be safe in the presence of the vehicles.
