CHIEF HONORED BY COMMUNITY – Byron’s retired Police Chief, Tim Sampey, was honored by his community at Byron’s Masonic Lodge on Saturday, Sept. 19, where many members of the Village Council were on hand to present the former chief with a commemorative badge for his nearly nine years of service to the village.
The chief, who retired from his post at the beginning of August, is seen here accepting the badge from Councilmember Janet Cole during the Masons’ regular community breakfast.
