QUEEN FOR A DAY for the 2015 PerryFest festivities was Louise Clair (front, right), a 58-year resident of the Perry-area and retired Perry Public Schools bus driver.
Clair was recognized for taking care of and helping others before thinking of herself. During her PerryFest reign, Clair was pampered with numerous gifts including a shopping spree for new clothes, a free portrait and having her hair, nails and makeup done.
The annual Queen for a Day competition is made possible with contributions from local merchants, including: Unique by Nature; ArTech Photography; Perry Dental; SunFish Tanning; and Kohl’s of Okemos.
After the presentation Clair posed with some of her family members for a photo and Mayor James Huguelet (front, center). (Courtesy Photo)
