The Spring Respite Volunteer Purse Party Bingo will be held Thursday, April 28 at GiGi’s Banquet Center located at 3144 E. M-21, east of the State Rd. intersection, Corunna. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. and games start at 6:30 p.m. “For each bingo game, the prize is a purse with a retail value of at least $40,” explains Chairperson Carol Nama. Advance Tickets are $15 (or $20 the day of the event, if tickets are still available) which includes 20 bingo cards to play 20 games. Extra cards may be purchased to increase your chances to win.
Light refreshments will be served, as well as door prizes and a chance for a ladies night out to add to the fun. Tickets are on sale now, weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Respite Volunteers of Shiawassee office located at 710 W. King St., Owosso, east of the Memorial Healthcare King St. entrance. Persons must be 18 years old to play.
