The new chapter of the Owosso Lions Club is inviting the public to an open house event on Tuesday, Feb. 26 from 6 to 7 p.m. at O-Town Café. Light refreshments will be provided. Everyone is invited to meet the club officers and members and learn what the Lions Club is doing in the community and as an international service organization.
The Owosso Lions Club is on the road to Lions Club International chartering. Members are needed. The Owosso Lions Club is initially taking steps to bring into our community programs that will include the Lions KidSight Eye Disease Scanning program for all ages and Lions Recycle Sight to collect old eyeglasses, along with local eye exams and eyeglasses for those in need at no cost to the family. Other projects will focus on diabetes, community parks and senior citizens.
