Leonard F. Maike, 88, of Oakley, passed away Sunday, April 3 in Lansing. Owner and President of Main Beverage in Owosso, Maike had recently retired. He belonged to the Eagles Club of Owosso, the Chesaning American Legion, the Knights of Columbus of Chesaning as well as a member of the St. Peter Parish of Chesaning.

Maike graduated from Chesaning High School and served his country during World War II in the Army. He will be remembered for his generosity, integrity, joke telling, and spending time with his family and being ‘Bud Man.’

He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Maike and children Christian Devereaux (Stewart), Sandy German (Roger), Carol Kim (George, deceased), Jo Ellen Zuckswerdt (Michael), Elaine Maike, Keith Maike (Aimee) and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Holy Mass was held on Wednesday, April 6 in Oakley followed by Mass Military Honors conducted by Chesaning American Legion. Cremation will follow.
