Project Connect, presented by the Shiawassee County Homeless Coalition hosted the 9th annual Project Connect Thursday, June 9, a free event aimed at providing support to county residents who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless. The event was made possible through a grant received from the Owosso Rotary and Rotary District 6310.
A special time was set aside for Veterans only, although Veterans were welcome any time throughout the event. With the help from a Rotary grant, Veterans received a free hot breakfast, lunch, and a backpack full of personal care items.

The Greater Lansing Food Bank truck was also there giving food to those who qualified.
