The Owosso Branch of Shiawassee District Library’s has several programs for adults scheduled during March which include: the Pinterest Party originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 1 was postponed to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8. Anyone wishing to attend is requested to call the library at (989) 725-5134 to preregister. This is a good opportunity to learn more about Pinterest and some of the crafts and recipes to be found there.

Also, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, the Between the Lines Adult Coloring Club will be meeting. Participants may bring their own supplies or use the coloring sheets and colored pencils supplied by the library.

On Thursday, March 17, the Crafterhours will meet from 10 a.m. to noon. Crafters should bring in their own supplies. We will also have someone available to help beginning knitters create a dishcloth; number five knitting needles and one skein of cotton yarn is needed to finish this project.

A tournament of books will also be taking place during the month of March. Each week, participants may vote for their favorite book of 2015. The bulletin board in the adult library shows the cover art for each of the books which were the most circulated last year; votes will be tallied each Tuesday until a winner is determined by the end of the month.

For more information on these or other library activities please contact the library at (989) 725-5134 or visit the library’s website or Facebook page.
