CERTIFICATES OF RECOGNITION were presented to members of the Perry Elementary School Safety Patrol during the Thursday, April 20 Perry City Council meeting.

The certificates noted recognition of the students for exhibiting good leadership skills, and serving as role models by demonstrating qualities defined in the CARS Initiative, which teaches elementary students how to be caring, accountable, respectful and safe.

Gratitude was expressed for the students leading the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance to open the council meeting.

Mayor James Huguelet presented the certificates to (from left) Spencer Griffith, Madisyn Cuthbert, and Randy Deschepper.
