The Owosso Board of Education has called a special meeting for 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, in the Owosso Middle School gym for “Facilities Strategic Planning.”
Twice in the past year the school board has asked voters to approve replacing the Owosso Middle School with an addition on Owosso High School for middle school students with bonding. The Feb. 25 question last year was for a property tax increase in the range over more than 6 mills. The reduced Nov. 3 bonding carried a property tax increase of just under 6 mills.
