The Owosso Historical Commission cordially invites the public to their annual Holiday Celebration, Christmas at the Castle – Holiday Party and Silent Auction. The event will take place on Thursday, Dec. 8, at Curwood Castle Writing & Conservation Studio Museum, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Come see Curwood Castle decorated for the Christmas holiday season, while shopping for one-of-a-kind Christmas and holiday presents from the silent auction. All of the auction items have been generously donated from local businesses and private donors. Admission is free, however a donation is suggested. All proceeds from silent auction sales go to the maintenance, renovation, and restoration of Owosso’s four historical museums. Gourmet appetizers and hors d’oeuvres will be served courtesy of Imageline, Map Reality – Kelly Bila and Swartz Funeral Home; beverages courtesy of Ludington Electric.
From Thursday, Dec. 15 through Friday, Dec. 23 and Tuesday, Dec. 27 through Friday, Dec. 30, Curwood Castle will be open to the public from 6 to 8 p.m. to allow the community to enjoy the Christmas and holiday decorations. During these evening hours only, admission to the Castle will be free. This will be in addition to our regular hours which are Tuesday through Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m. Curwood Castle will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as, on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Curwood Castle is also regularly closed on Mondays.
