Matt, an Ascob Cocker Spaniel from Owosso, will be a big star on Thanksgiving Day because he won the Sporting Group at the National Dog Show in Philadelphia GCH. Blondheim’s Easy Matters will be covered extensively while competing to win Best In Show in the big NBC Thanksgiving Day broadcast of the National Dog Show Presented by Purina. The show follows the Macy’s Day Parade and garners a total of more than 20 million viewers each year.
In addition to coverage earlier in the broadcast, Matt will be among only seven dogs in the final round as the Best In Show judge determines the winning dog, which then becomes an immediate celebrity and among the favorites to win the Westminster show in New York City in February.
Matt is a multi-Best In Show winner and number one in the breed. Matt lives with his handler, Lisa Arnett of Owosso, said Florence Tambone of Tambone Associates.
