OVID HEALTHCARE CENTER announces several recent updates. Ovid Healthcare Center is now owned and operated by Ciena Healthcare and have recently passed all state and federal inspections.
Kelly Martin is the new administrator. Martin has worked in all aspects of long-term care and rehabilitation for most of her adult life, starting as a CENA.

The building has undergone a remodeling process in the past year. All common areas have been remodeled, including the rehab gym, activities room and all hallways. More improvements are being planned.
In a press release from Ovid Healthcare Center, it was stated that services have not changed. “We offer Sub-Acute Rehabilitation Services including speech, physical, and occupational therapies, tube feeding, total parenteral, IV Therapy, pain management, infectious disease management, social services and discharge planning, respite, hospice, palliative care, x-ray, pharmacy, lab services and wound therapy.” Transportation to appointments along with 24-hour nursing care is available.
The release also explained how COVID-19 has “brought us some difficulty in the past year, but we have powered through. Out staff has remained a tight unit and support each other as a team. We love our residents like our families and we understand that we are, at times, the only family they have.”
