GLOW OWOSSO/Owosso Main Street are selling limited-edition ornaments to support Glow Owosso activities. A variety of ornaments are available this year representing Michigan, including one specially made to look like Curwood Castle, says Glow Owosso Project Manager Susan Treen. Each ornament is made in Michigan and costs $15.
Glow Owosso is held each year on the day after Thanksgiving beginning with the Glow 5K Walk Run followed by a lighted parade through downtown Owosso and the lighting of the official downtown Owosso Christmas Tree and the dancing light display in Main Street Plaza at the corner of Washington and Main (M-21). Horse and carriage rides will be available after the parade along with the opportunity to visit with Santa.
New events are being planned this year to make Glow even more fun and those wishing to volunteer or become a sponsor can contact Treen, (989) 729-2253.
