The Shiawassee Council on Aging: Morrice Senior Center is hosting the following activities and events for November. On Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 12:30 p.m., Sobaks will speak on Independent Living. A Book Bingo event will be held Monday, Nov. 7, at 12:30 p.m. hosted by the Morrice Library. The center hosts Bingo every Monday following lunch.

The euchre group continues to meet Monday and Thursday afternoons at 1:30 p.m. and Pedro is played on the second Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m. An exercise class is every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30 a.m. as well as an Alzheimer’s Support Group on Nov. 14 and 28 at noon with a Diabetic Support Group meeting on Friday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m.

Lunch is served at the center, three days a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon; if you are interested in coming please call the center at (517) 625-4270 or come in the day prior to make your reservation for the next day. Please note that the center has adopted new hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday, Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
