AL AND DEBBIE ARGUMEDO, who live at 146 W. Orchard St. in Perry, were recently honored as the winners of the October 2017 “Mayor Ross De Lau Perry Pride Award.” As winners, the Argumedos received a commemorative plaque and gift certificate from Darling Hardware, and they will have their names engraved on a larger commemorative plaque to be displayed in the Perry City Hall lobby.
The focus of the residential award is to recognize excellence of residents in maintaining their home and yard, thus generating “Perry Pride.”
Mayor Pro Tem Tom Chaput (right) presented the plaque to Arguemedo (left) at the Thursday, Oct. 19, Perry City Council meeting. He also selected three Honorable Mention winners, including the family homes of Gordon and Kathy Eisenhauer, 115 W. Third St.; Lisa Shepard, 116 W. Orchard St.; and Amy Anderson, 113 W. Orchard St.
