LUCILLE JUNE HARPER, of Perry, recently celebrated her 104th birthday with family and friends. Birthday cake made by her daughter-in-law Doris Harper and ice cream were served to 30 guests, as well as the residents at Olive Branch Assisted Living in Perry. Lucille’s 104th birthday was on Monday, July 9. She was born in Juneau, AK, where she lived with her parents Edward and Lucille Caldo and sister Annabelle until age seven, at which time the family moved to Lansing.
Lucille received cards and gifts from her guests, and she is still receiving cards and well wishes from as far away as Arden, Ontario. Lucille would like to thank everyone who attended her celebration, sent cards or made visits.
