LOGAN TURNER of OHS; diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia last spring, was welcomed onto Willman Field by a standing ovation Friday during the Owosso High School Community Pep Rally. Acute myeloid leukemia is a cancer of the blood and bone. Logan received a transplant to help him beat his disease and even though his immune system is still weakened, Head Coach Bryan Carpenter recently asked him to introduce his varsity football teammates at the rally and Logan gladly accepted.
