Any fireworks which make noise, explode or fly are illegal in Owosso and most other area locales under state law. That means firing large fireworks which can be heard for blocks or fly into the air can result in a ticket by police.
Owosso’s Code allows the fireworks only the day before, day of and day after a national holiday.
